iWave Systems Technology Pvt. Ltd., a leading embedded turnkey design house in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, has recently launched High performance, low power SOM (System-on-Module) with form factor 70mm x 70mm based on Freescale´s i.MX51 processor. The i.MX51 processor features advanced and power-efficient implementation of the ARM Cortex A8™ core, which operates at 800 MHz.
iW-i.MX51 SOM is ready-to-integrate for any portable computing applications (Smartbooks, MID, PMP, PND, HMI, Digital signage etc) in Industrial, Medical, Consumer segments.
The Design is equipped with 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM, 2GB NAND Flash & optional 2MB NOR Flash for memory & Onboard I/O Interfaces for USB 2.0 Host / Device, microSD, UART interface (Debug) and JTAG for Processor.
