Hitex Development Tools

Complex FPGA designs with easy-to-use Rapid Prototyping System

Hitex introduces Tanto2-FPGA, a system which offers total flexibility regarding implementation and easy access to all signals of the FPGA....

Powerful FPGAs make the development of complex hardware programmed in software easier than ever before. The flexibility of evaluation and prototyping boards is often limited as there are normally only standard interfaces with a fixed defined signal interface available and application-specific interfaces cannot be adapted very easily.
The Tanto2-FPGA system offers a flexible hardware base concept designed to integrate proprietary interfaces without much effort. All signals are accessible and can be controlled via a test & measurement board and a logic analyzer. Thanks to an advanced Altera FPGA (Stratix II), Tanto2-FPGA supports designs with up to 3 million ASIC gates, complex interfaces such as LVDS, and high clock rates. Test and verification effort can be considerably reduced by I/O ...

IP-ReflectiveMemory: Real Time Local Area Network

IP-ReflectiveMemory is a networked system with 1 to 256 nodes. The network auto-configures requiring only memory data accesses for operation. LED and SW readable status and additional optional configuration. 256Kx16 S...

IP-ReflectiveMemory is easy to use by design. Each node in the system auto-configures and clears the local memory. The Master node tests the network; when an operational network is detected, the master enables the remaining nodes for operation.

The memory is useful for many shared data architectures where automatic real-time updates are required. Separate spaces within the memory can be defined for parallel and separate updates, specific addresses can be defined for multi-user data fields, serial and parallel processing, system configuration and more. There are no restrictions on how the memory is used.

Up to 256 nodes can be supported. The node address from another node can be used to cause an interrupt to the local host when a data update is received.

TEWS TECHNOLOGIES today announced the TPMC317, a conduction cooled single-width 32-bit PMC module which offers six independent channels operating as either a standard SSI interface controller, a SSI `Listen only´ device, an incremental encoder, or a general purpose counter.
The standard SSI interface controller provides a clock burst output to the absolute encoder and receives the returned positional data. The SSI interface controller operates with a programmable clock rate from 1ľs to 15ľs and programmable data word length from 1-bit to 32-bit.
In `Listen only´ Mode, the channel listens to an existing SSI interface to observe its data transfer using both the SSI clock and data as inputs. The channel also has a programmable data word length from 1-bit to 32-bit,...
